A Guide to Miragul’s Phylactery : The Crucible

Key Mob - A Hidden Tome -105, 0, 40 (North-East room)
Void Shard chest - 83, 0, 14 (North-West room)
Enter The Crucible and head south into the first large area.
Clear this area of all mobs (be carefull of the Death Knights in the zone, these will cast an arcane dot on the Tank, if this is not cured ASAP it wil turn into an uncureable fear effect)
Clear the room to your left (the Voidshard-chest keymob, A Hidden Tome, is in this room)
In this room you wil find a large crystal, which can be moved as you do furniture, take this back to the entrance room and place it on one of the pedestals that are on either side of the room.
Go south again and then right, into the Western Room. Clear this room (The void-shard chest is in here). You will find another crystal, take this back to the entrance room and place it on the other pedestal.
Go south back into the large room and the first named will spawn on the raised dias in the centre.
Aimedaca
As soon as you engage Aimedaca, several groups of mages will spawn around the outside of the room.
Aimedaca and the mages will stay at range and cast at you.
You can either just rush at Aimedaca, burn him down and then take the mages or take the mages first.
Once Aimedaca is dead a stairway to the North will open and you can progress to the next area.
Clear the next large room and then head to the eastern room., here you will find the next encounter
The Master
Initially there will be 3 members to this encounter, all casters. Once you engage each of the mobs will have a different coloured glow. (Master Delar is yellow, Master Velihan is red, Master Rayne is blue).
You will notice 3 coloured pads on the floor, one for each master.
The Masters cannot be taken below 50% health. Once they hit 50% you have to pull them to the appropriate coloured pad (i.e Master Delar to the yellow one) where they will become chained and stop fighting. (It can sometimes take a few attempts to get them chained, everyone should stop all dps once at 50% and the tank needs to keep moving the mob over the pad until it becomes chained).
Once all 3 are chained The Master will spawn as an unattackable NPC (check out the 3 mages new titles at this point
)
The Master will give his students quite a long lecture before he becomes attackable. (To save time, while he is doing this you could go and kill the next named, Xorlac the Cleanser, then return)
All 4 of the mobs in this encounter have a high reflect rate. Try to avoid using debuffs, stuns, stifles etc.. and try not to use any AOE (blue or green) as these will reflect onto the whole group.
Once the encounter is over, find the moveable crystal in this room, return to the central room and place it onto one of the pedestals there.
The next name is in the room to the west.
In this room you will find 4 moveable items, a fish icon, a fearling icon, a cloud icon and a tree icon.
these need to be moved onto the correct pedestals within the room.

once they are placed the next named will spawn
Xorlac the Cleanser
Xorlac wil spawn as a small, solo mob, which will die with one or two hits and immediatly spawn as the ‘proper’ named.
Xorlac has a large kickback.
He will cast a very large mental damage/stun aoe, this also reduces your mental mitigation to 0. if it hits you, it will probably be a wipe.
You can esily see when he is going to cast by his animation (waving hands around) makes sure to stun/stifle/interrupt him at this point.
Once Xorlac is dead find the moveable crystal in the room and place it on the other pedestal in the central room. this will cause a spiral staircase to rise up from the ground, allowing access ot the upper floor and the final named.
Head up the stairs and south, Master Miragul will be in this room. He wil give a speech and then disappear, the final named, The Codexicon, will now appear.
The Codexicon
the Codexicon is a large book. He spawns in the centre of the room, if you stay to the edges you will not agro him.
2 members of the group need to grab a torch from the walls. This torch does not need ot be equipped or hotbarred, just have it in your inventory.
If you can have someone that can fight for ranged with torches, it helps.
When the Codexicon reaches 80%,60%,40% and 20% health he will spawn 4 items in the centre of the room, 2 books, a scroll and a page.
the people with the torches need to click the items to burn them.
If the items are not burnt fast enough the group will be hit by an aoe (the more items unburned the harder the hit)
The more damage done to the Codexicon while these items are up will reduce the time you have to burn them, so all dps should stop until all the items are burnt.
Once all the items are burnt or the AOE goes off, he will spawn some adds (easily killed by your own aoe)
It is possible to stun/stifle him to prevent the items being spawned.
